Article 50-2 (Prohibition of Unauthorized Collection of Electronic Mail Addresses)
- ① No person shall collect electronic mail addresses using programs or other technical devices that automatically collect electronic mail addresses from the Internet website without obtaining prior consent from the Internet website operator or administrator.
- ② No person shall be permitted to sell or distribute the electronic mail addresses collected in violation of paragraph 1 above.
- ③ No person shall use the electronic mail addresses to send information, knowing that such electronic mail addresses are prohibited from being collected or sold under paragraphs 1 and 2 above.
Article 74 (Penalty Provisions)
- ① Any of the following persons shall be punished by imprisonment with labor for up to 1 year or by a fine not exceeding 10 million won.
- ⑤ Those who collect, sell, distribute, or use electronic mail addresses in violation of Article 50-2.
